Handgun falls out of man's pocket while he's on ride at Boonville-Oneida County Fair
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office said a man was arrested after their weapon fell out of their pocket on a fair ride.

Not me. There are plenty of people that are too stupid to have guns.I’m not one to speculate. But why would he not go after his gun? Perhaps he was drinking? No idea. Someone on this board must know the guy but why would you not go back for your gun. And if anyone says, “maybe he didn’t know he lost it,” I won’t say “then maybe he should not have a gun.”
Because I know that would get people up in arms.
And maybe, just maybe, some of *those* people shouldn’t have guns, either.Because I know that would get people up in arms.

Holy shit, am I on a gun-grabber forum? Have we learned nothing? Opening the door to gun control is akin to opening the floodgates. And maybe, just maybe, some of *those* people shouldn’t have guns, either.![]()
Never have a gun anywhere on your person not in a holster that covers the trigger adequatelyPocket holster might've been a good idea

I'd find him not guilty whether he has a permit or not.Dang shame. Don’t know him but clearly not criminal of the year but now he is. I hope it goes to a jury trial and the jury takes matters into their own hands. I’d find him not guilty of criminal possession of a weapon. He has a permit.
The process is the punishment.Well this is NY so SCOTUS opinions and ruling are optional. If it went down and written, a sign is a request at best and any good lawyer will get this man out of it but the cost to him the victory for the State and a lesson to us all.![]()
Who would you trust to decide ?And maybe, just maybe, some of *those* people shouldn’t have guns, either.![]()
