I retired from NY and moved South to TN 7 years ago. As a resident I held an Unrestricted pistol license and a Firearms Instructor Certification.
Since living in TN I have added an FFL & SOT to my credentials and run a small shop here East of Memphis.
Now that my Kids in NY have kids of their own I'll be traveling up to NY several times a year for Grand Kid events. I'm also considering the purchase of a CLass A motorhome which in many states is classified as a legal residence.
My question is what if any exceptions does an out of STATE FFL hold in New York State. NYSP has been no help thus far in my requests for information.
As a FFL I hold a FEDERAL Licence for all firearms and also an SOT for NFA Items.
How does NY look at this?
