which suppressor height buis to go with

Ok so looking to get my Glock 19 slide milled for an RMR come the new year when i get that work bonus (after you know around 40% is theft'd er taxed) and so with that being said need to figure out which set of Suppressor height sights to get..

for the longest time i have been wanting to get a set of Trijicons. I have no shame in admitting that i can be a bit of a brand snob but at the same time one of the companies that i am looking at to do the slide work offers AmeriGlo blacked front and rear for only $55 which seems like a decent deal...

now my issues, should i be a brand snob and spend about $105+shipping just for the Trijicon suppressor sights or get the blacked out AmeriGlo's

I dont think i have ever really heard anything bad about AmeriGlo but are they really any good?

I went with the ameriglo night sights. They seem to work well. I haven't really used them much because of the red dot.

see this is where the realist in me kicks in, the fact that they are just back up sights that i really "dont" need because RMR

but then the cynic in me thinks hmmm Trijicon is twice the cost these are "cheap" they cant be good... but again RMR if anything they are just going to be a reference point but also no really needed

Agreed, because I eventually would like to use mine as a bed side gun I figured I would put them on it. I found Optics Planet to have the best prices with this sort of thing.

thats my other issue, im OK with blacked out sights but then my mind starts thinking what about dark time (even though i currently run an Inforce APL but will be going to a surefire x300) and so ive noticed with my CZ and its RMR and blacked out front/rear sights if i have a bad draw in darkness im deff fishing for the dot, and feel if i had say a night sight front sight, it would help find the dot in very dark conditions. but at the same time i dont really want rear night sights for the fact that a 3 dot system plus a red dot is just a hole lot going on for the eye which defeats the purpose of a red dot

just get the trijicons. The fact that you're putting this much thought into means if you get the ameriglos you're going to regret it at some point.

see i dont think thats 100% true, im rocking who knows what of a glock rear sight on my CZ mixed with a modified CZ suppressor front sight, and honestly it has not been an issue, they are dead nuts on when i practice with the rmr off

I'm not saying they aren't going to work, but usually in my experience at least if i spend time debating between two, and cost is the only factor making one more appealing than the other, i end up regretting going with the cheaper one. Happened to me a few times and each time i ended up selling the lesser product and getting the other one i was originally looking at.

and see for me the only reason i have been iffy about the trijicon is they dont offer a blacked out rear sight

I found that I only focus on the red dot, or the irons, but not both, when shooting competitions, on the clock or in stressful situations. I only notice both at the same time when setting the zero on the red dot, or during dry fire. I went with the Trijicons and love them.
