These antgun people are morons. I don’t see how you can suspend some one for doing something perfectly legal off of school grounds.

I have to say I love my schools district for this. I was in my kids class last year and they were doing a Christmas celebration. Yes Christmas. I’m sure my son talks about throwing knives and guns at school and I hear nothing of it. Now my kids are too young and don’t have Facebook. Also the school resource officer and a good amount of other teachers are progun. My older sons science teacher posted a photo of him in dessert storm with a group of guys all holding guns. I don’t think anyone complained. He also has a picture of Jesus in his classroom.

More and more political indoctrination every day. This is also what happens when we have "Zero Tolerance" laws. You end up with stupidity because you can't recognize the shades of gray. The kids were doing nothing illegal. They were off school grounds. They did not post that they were going to shoot up a school or kill classmates or make threats. They simply said "a great day at the range." But the Zero Tolerance rule says that any mention of weapons is grounds for suspension. For that, I say I guess everyone who takes a Home Economics class and uses a knife should be suspended too.

Are they fucking kidding me. I don't give a fuck what they say, if I wanted to let me Sons do ANYTHING that is legal let them try to suspend them.

I'm not big on the whole suing thing, and believe it is abused. BUT, if this were my kid I would be sitting down with my Attorney post haste. Along with a copy of this fucking indoctrination policy.

Hell, down here all of our schools (not sure about Louisville, or Lexington) have rifle, and archery teams. It is a big sport down here. Not to mention, pretty much EVERY kid starts shooting by 5 or 6 years old, boys and girls alike.

The school has since backed off, changed the wording in their handbook and have entered into private talks with the students and their parents.

This school handbook offense needs to be circulated throughout all districts, all over the country. Any district that has wording or over-reaching policies needs to be called out publicly. Students might be intimidated into not exercising their 2A rights off school property because of these bullying tactics. I can't imagine the Lacy Township school district is unique in their attempt to control their students 24/7/364. If all these districts are threatened by lawsuits, maybe things can change at the indoctrination level.

Its really sad that one of the students posted that they should just have a mental evaluation and when its found they are sane, the school should back off.
Someone needs to inform this kid that they do not need to prove anything.
