The New S7065 and S1412 Bills...

"To buy any firearm would require:
  1. 4 Hour Firearm Class
  2. 90% Accuracy on Live Shoot*
  3. State Mental Health Exam
  4. Finger Printed and Background Check (Costs about 100$ in NY)
  5. Take Hunting Safety Class (7 Hours Long)
  6. Apply for Hunting License.
  7. For Pistols you must ALSO apply for a Pistol License (8-10 Months)
  8. Notarized proof of passing a drug test
  9. Proof of purchase of firearm and ammunition safe storage depositories
*Live Fire Shoot must be with weapon similar to one you intend to purchase.
THEN you can buy a firearm.

So, you have to become proficient enough with the gun *before* you can buy it (or even touch it in the case of pistols ?)

Can you even legally do the proficiency test without the permit for a handgun ?

Voteing registration laws
Voters must,
Pass both an 12th grade level American history and an American Civics course with a 90%
provide valid citizenship proof, residency proof, valid picture ID
provide a mental health screening showing they are of sound mind without flaws and not on medication.
Provide notarized list of character references
Provide all names and passwords for social media to polling place licensors to ensure you are not a radical.
Pass a sobriety test upon arrival to the polls


Then, let's pass freedom of expression regulations....

Yeah but... you already have guns.

When I moved to NY from even more (debatable, maybe) NJ, I didn't.

I mean, now I do. But people that dont now, that might join us in the future, pretty screwed. Unless they want to join the likes of the gangbangers and buy from Freddie under the overpass.
