1 it would be funny

2 it would make people hate Democrat officials and distrust big government

3 people might be more willing to want to be less dependent on constantly running to the store. They don't need to be full out preppers but maybe some would stock up more and look into more self sufficient things like gardening

4 I can tell my wife, see I told you so

I anticipate it could come to that if the spike in covid cases is as high as I think it will be after Thanksgiving. Plus if there is any real traction in the election lawsuits by mid December then I expect there will be full fledged covid panic on behalf of governments to downplay these developments as much as possible. Fewer people will care about the election results if they are focused on where their next meal is coming from.

Black Friday 24/7 buying groceries .. There are folks that live paycheck to paycheck ..Groceries bought Monday are gone by sat ... sometime sooner ... Then they hit the food banks ... No stocking up for these folks .. They will be fighting over cans of beans and Manwich ...
