The network of the Lawfare crew is also on standby against this election investigation, as well as major DNC legal operative Marc Elias who recently left Perkins Coie to set up his own shop specifically to work on this issue. Elias took 13 lawyers and ten partners to his new firm. That puts the DOJ, Lawfare and Elias’s new team all in alignment against Englebrecht, True The Vote and the American people. Now do you see why I would not want to compromise the integrity of the work Englebrecht has been doing?

It is elite insiders vs everyone else.

Abbott signs Texas elections bill, Democrats file suit​

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on Tuesday signed a sweeping overhaul of his state’s election procedures after months of delay caused by Democrats who sought to block the bill they say will disenfranchise voters.
The measure bars round-the-clock polling stations and places new restrictions on drive-thru voting and voting by mail. It will give more authority to partisan poll watchers who can observe an election, and it increases the requirements for identification voters must show when they cast a ballot.

The bill will also prevent elections officials from distributing vote-by-mail applications to voters who have not specifically requested them, after registrars and county clerks in large Texas counties sent out applications in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. It requires the Secretary of State’s office to check voter rolls every month in an effort to identify non-citizens who have improperly registered to vote.

The lawyer, Marc Elias, said his team had sued on behalf of four Texas organizations: two Hispanic advocacy groups, a retiree organization and the state’s largest teacher’s union. The lawsuit will challenge the law under the First and Fourteenth amendments to the Constitution, and under two sections of the Voting Rights Act.

You know during WWII there were German citizens that objected to the Camps and what was going on inside. There were escapees and the underground that smuggled out evidence of what was happening to the Allies. Yet we acted surprised when our troops stumbled across the camps and liberated them. I guess we can get a little bit of how they must have felt when they were stifled by the Fact Checkers of the day.

The fact remains, a significant percentage of the people no longer trust the electoral process. Whether their concerns are legitimate or not is irrelevant. The fact that they exist is enough to undermine the entire process.

To function a democracy needs the vast majority of people to see the outcome of an election as legitimate, whether they agree with it or not.

The Democrats laid the ground work for this with 4 years of "the Russians stole the election". What you are seeing now is just a logical next step in the collapse of the process.

You don't just need a system that prevents fraud from affecting the outcome. You need a system in which the existence of such fraud is inconceivable.

There are a lot of people out there who can conceive methods to defraud our election. If you don't want the process to collapse, you need to figure out how to alleviate their concerns.


You have the same problem with vaccination. The left thinks making a "safe and effective" vaccine is enough, and can't understand why they are having problems getting people to take it.

It doesn’t just need to be "safe and effective" it needs to be obvious that it is "safe and effective". Threatening people who don't want it doesn't affect how safe it actually is at all, but it sure as hell effects how safe people think it is.

Stopped randomly on a spot. People you are paying to give you advice should have to act in your interest, not their own. Why is delaying that rule that makes them do that a good thing?
