The law makes no sense because they require inspectors to fail any tint below 30% while the VTL states it must be 70% or greater. Why wouldn't they just close the gap? 30% is pretty dark as is, especially at night on a car stop.

Pretty spot on, even if it hurts business. It's hard to make location based distinctions in the law, but these situations can vary greatly from inner city gang prone areas to residential suburbs.

Trump understands the necessity for unconventional relationships to achieve results. Schumer is against so much of what Trump campaigned on but is also one of the most powerful democrats. Just more politics at work.
