The law makes no sense because they require inspectors to fail any tint below 30% while the VTL states it must be 70% or greater. Why wouldn't they just close the gap? 30% is pretty dark as is, especially at night on a car stop.
The DMV should issue a sticker that is affixed to the drivers side window which authorizes the tint. The windshield can never be tinted regardless of exemption due to safety concerns.
You have to speak with the DMV and get them to approve the tint based on the doctors letter. In the past I'd...
Pretty spot on, even if it hurts business. It's hard to make location based distinctions in the law, but these situations can vary greatly from inner city gang prone areas to residential suburbs.
CNN, Washington Post, and the list goes on... There are so many outlets that I can't stand to see because their opinions are so apparent. At least before they'd somewhat try to hide, not anymore.
I realize that it is an old story, the shock is that propositions such as this are getting some media traction. I can't believe, even in a state such as this, that someone would believe this is a viable measure.
NY Lawmakers: Limit Ammo Purchases to 20 Rounds Every 90 Days
I apologize if this has already been mentioned, didn't see it anywhere. Can't believe this is actually condoned, some really think this is a realistic response to whatever problems they perceive guns create.
This city is whacked...
Trump understands the necessity for unconventional relationships to achieve results. Schumer is against so much of what Trump campaigned on but is also one of the most powerful democrats. Just more politics at work.
I've got a 26 and find it's pretty uncomfortable shooting, both for the size of my hand and the split trigger. I went from the 26 to an XDs, love the single stack and ease of concealment. In the end it's all about comfort.
Where can I find a range/club in the Lower Hudson that allows me to shoot from the holster while moving? My department allows it once in a while but I'd love a range that isn't just standing at a point and killing paper. I need to moveeeeeeee
Very good point about knowing the basic and practical aspects of it before focusing too hard on actually building a bag. It's amazing how few things you really need in the field versus what items you simply can't live without.
I've got the same issues, right handed and left eye dominant. I shoot pistols both eyes open, always focusing on the front sight with the rear and target being blurry. As for rifles, when I joined the army I taught myself to shoot left handed and it's become second nature at this point. You can...
Belt is key, I went and picked up this one from Magpul. It's got a plastic/rubber inside layer that keeps things in place. I went to wear my 3.0 today with a normal belt and instantly felt the difference.

I just picked up a few of the Anderson's, my first attempts at building out my own. Haven't been big in the rifle realm since leaving the Army but I figured now is a better time than any to grab them.
Shooting mostly pistol, currently a Sig, Glock, and Springfield owner. Just bought a few stripped lowers that I'll be building out over the next few months to up my rifle time.

I've got two, one for a Sig P226 and another for my EDC XDS. Both have a lot of use on them and have held up just fine.
As for the screws coming loose, Alien Gear recommends you use a little loctite on them. If you do you shouldn't have any issues with it.
