Those taxes were one of the reasons we left NYS. I showed my wife that even after we paid off our mortgage we would still need to se aside half our normal "mortgage payment" every month just to cover taxes and insurance.

At this point her personality and opinions are so off putting even that won't work.

Agreed, we just went through this last month. It took 10 days for him to pass, and going to see him in those last few days was extremely difficult because you don't want to remember him that way. And I said the exact same thing to my closest friends about our dogs being given more dignity...

OK, this made me chuckle.....

That's actually a pretty solid idea. The last 10/22 I bought was brand new for about $200. Toss it in a cheap archangel stock knock off with a pistol grip and a thing that goes up and you're in for at least $200 in profit.
