Dare I say it... I’m leaning towards the 9mm. My 2 Smith’s are 9mm. I really like the 2.0. It fits my hand nicely. The ammo is cheaper and I always have some on hand. Lol.
I like the Kimber's a lot. But I'm only going on looks. Haven't fired one yet. Thinking of going to Gun For Hire so I can rent a couple 1911's there and try them out. They rent the Kimber.
A 3" barrel was never a thought to me. 5" all the way. LOL Life is WAY too busy for me!! My son plays travel hockey and my daughter is on a travel baton twirling team. I do't get any me time. But that's ok, my family comes first.

I was leaning towards the Sprinfield because I hear it’s more competition ready out of the box. Haven’t shot any matches yet, but hope to in the near future.
Yeah I don’t know how many more would be in my future. I definitely want a 5 inch barrel. Most friends that I’ve asked suggest a .45 as well.
