Best advice I've received is to find out what brand and type ammo the local PD carry, and use that. Apparently it may be an advantage should you have to deal with the court system due to a self defense situation.

They might, but not in my lifetime. So, I choose not to live oppressed but to instead enjoy freedom and liberty where I can find it, when I can find it, for as long as I can find it. YMMV.

So, revoking their DL will keep them from driving? How many news article have you read about people being ticketed multiple times for driving on a revoked DL? These people don't give a frick; they will never be put in jail, in NY, for driving on a suspended/revoked license. They know this, so...
