I've owned several bp revolvers including the Walker. Only one I have left is the Ruger but always wanted an 1860 model, so beautiful!

Doesn't the 6.5 Jap use a .264 bullet? I'd recommend slugging your bore before using a .2665 diameter bullet. I'm sure the Jap action is plenty strong but better safe than sorry.

Is Hornady still manufacturing the .268/.2665 dia 6.5 Carcano bullets? I can't find any for sale on line. Have a few hundred & trying to estimate a price in case I part with them.
