it is sweet. It is super small and compact. Pump is smooth, perfect home defense length. Pistol grip feels much more natural than regular shotgun. The tubes holds more than the Mossberg too, can get 7+7 of 2.5inch in there, can only fit 6 in the Mossberg.

i've seen it for dirt cheap on Palmettostatearmory, like $350 or $370. I paid $460 about 8 months ago

I don't shoot this one enough!

I just freshened up the stock on my Rossi 94. It looked ok before, but they left the grain open enough that it would grab my beard hairs when I shot.

I added a bit of stain/color and a few coats of tung oil. Finished with a bit of Renaissance Wax.

I had two but sold mine, kept my dads.

Talk about hurt . I had the 3” 10 ga. Model with the same length barrel. That sucker could cut down a 4” sapling and leave a bruise on your shoulder for a month !
I traded it and $50 to a vendor at the Syracuse gun show for a marlin 336

Haven't seen one in years around me. But if you remember those traveling Chinese tool shows they always had dirt cheap pellet guns. This one is from the 90's. I think they were $10- 20's top. I sent this one to the chopsaw and took some of the forearm off then did a sand and refinish . They hit pretty damn hard too.

Western Auto Revelation model 100A. This old gun was one of the few that was still kicking around when my grandfather died back in 96. It sat in the shadow's when my dad kept it hid for its ugliness. Someone long ago butchered it with a wood burning tool. It had a really shitty rose carved into the forearm, then what I think was someone's attempt at a beaver burnt into the stock. Years later in 2005 , the summer my dad knew it was last, he didn't like me sitting at the table with him watching him die. He sent me out to his garage with all kinds of stupid projects. At this point the ugly gun was collection lots of dust in his shop and we had talked about giving a redo in the past but never agreed on ideas. So with complete control I went my way with it. The stock went straight to the chopsaw removing a good 6 or 8 inches with a small back cut like some old Weatherbys. This totally did away with the rose burning. The remainder went to my dads flap sander removing all the varnish and thinned down the rear stock untill I made it beaverless. It was coming along nicely but looked silly with such a short forearm so out came the hacksaw to bring the barrel down to 16.75". No crowning tool so it still is flush and unblued which looks good. I can't recall what I did with the front site, but added the super high end BSA optic to it. The maple stock got a Minwax honey gel stain. Not wanting to spend weeks we didn't have to do the hand rubbed linseed oil top finish I have it a satin poly over.
If I remember correctly dad died before I was done but he saw the rough finish. So 20 years ago he died on my oldest sons birthday. Today I'm passing it along to him to keep his critter problems in control.

A '19 Mossberg Shockwave 500 Chainsaw, that I converted to full tactical.
A '64 Belgian Browing light 12, that my old man handed down to me.
A '60 era Ruger .22 (another hand me down and first gun I ever shot at 5 or 6 yrs old).

IMHO, a rounded pistol grip cap on a wood shotgun stock is the cat's meow. It's a real bygone era detail that you see on the older Browning A-5 or Remington copies and other assorted older shotguns.
