I've never owned or used, or ever needed, an umbrella. I don't get the need for one.
I don't think I've ever seen an umbrella in real life. It's just rain, it's not that big of a deal.
Ask me how I know.
But I suppose we all have different ways of life and have different needs. I can appreciate that.
I'm just speaking from my own perspective.
Just for transparency, I did build a makeshift roof over my primary tree stand. I guess an old hood of a car haphazardly nailed above my perch is an umbrella? IDK.
But that kind of shit makes sense though. I mean, who wants to spend all morning standing/sitting in the stand while getting rained on? Duh.
Anyway, for the first time in my life, I now want to buy a black umbrella. Funny how that works. I want to buy the blackest one available from Umbrella's Unlimited before Hochul bans black umbrellas in New York. I'm just saying.
I'm thinking I'll hang it over my you know, the thing.

It's not something I ever thought about before this thread, but I just told my wife that I never see anyone actually using an umbrella. She said that's because I don't go to church. She attends church on most Sundays, so I suppose she would know.
I just don't recall ever watching someone walking in the rain holding an umbrella.

I go to church every Sunday too and rarely see people with umbrellas. A few Sunday’s ago it was raining like crazy so I talked to a friend for a bit longer and it stopped. I left then and it was all good. I’ll see people at times with them at church but I mostly see them at sporting events or the grocery store. People don’t like to load groceries in the rain.
