I don't swear a ton, but my kids have all heard fuck from me, and the occasional shit. Particularly when some project I'm working on goes horribly wrong, or I get hurt. My kid actually said it bothered him more the times I got hurt and didn't swear because it meant I was hurting more, lol.

I've just always swore, always been a part of life w/ me. Was a mechanic and a cook for years, so that didn't help. My stepdad is a mechanic, so that didn't help. I always knew when to use it, who not to use it around, and am teaching my daughter the same thing. I don't care if she swears around the house, but as long as she isn't using it around her friends and outside the house. So far, so good.

My dad was an NCO in the Army, Korean era. He worked two jobs all his life. The "DI" use to wake up every Saturday-Sunday at 0700 for chores and sounded just like a typical DI. We were not allowed to cuss back and god forbid we ever swore at mom. When neither were around.......
