That sucks! The best system is the Duramax with the extra injector but really DPF's as a whole are a pain. Anyway best of luck!

I'm running a 13 liter Maxxforce.
Or as I like to call it Crappforce.
It was indeed the DPF filter, all set now.

Did they clean it or replace it?

They cleaned it. They said it was just starting to get bad. Apparently the feeder tube delivering the fuel to burn the soot off was stopped up and they cleared that out as well. Weekend/night maint in New Kingstown does a good job so I think I should be alright.

Glad to hear you're up and going again! I have heard plenty of horror stories about those maxxforce. Especially EGR I believe.
