Some Waste Management trucks are NG/LP, but not many. Doing some quick Googling they say they have 11,000 RNG trucks. But in my area, there are none only because a recent coworker used to be a garbage man working for WM. I also drive by the main WM truck site on a regular basis. All they have is...
They are adding in the delivery charges and I'm sure that "free" tank rental. Either way, I'm happy with my decision. I don't need to worry about buying a tank, dealing with the hassles of someone saying "we won't fill that", etc, etc. They also replace the dual fuel filters every 6 months. It's...
Thinking a little bit outside of the box with any company or individual that owns a 3D printer, lathe, CNC machine, a Dremel, etc., access to a hardware store with some imagination and not much talent can create a firearm all the way up to a self-repeating gun (fully automatic/machine gun)...
Just reading it gave me a headache. How the hell do people have the time to come up with this shit?
Oh, that's right... instead of protecting the people's rights, it's easier to shit all over them...
Mine is roughly $0.18 right now. I don't care, it is pure convenience and the fact I didn't need to purchase a tank, which also costs money.
I will then have enough diesel fuel to be without power for weeks and not care. Between that and the portable solar generators, my power problems are solved.
Good news! I got a 275 gallon diesel fuel tank being supplied by the fuel company coming. Just signed up for a 2 year agreement with no minimum on usage. The tank will be coming next week. I opted for a 115v pump. After my 2 years, I can either keep doing a year by year contract or let them take...
I'm thinking if we run more EV trucks, that it would be much easier to control/hinder them by exploiting the electrical grid.
A lot harder to do that with fuels like gas/diesel.
Especially with folks like me who is going to buy a 275 gallon diesel tank to fill their truck and tractor. If the...
Also you got to think about what is under the ground too. That extra weight takes it toll on sewer and water systems and other infrastructure.
Also weight limits in cities will need to be changed. A lot of places are still 5 tons and lots of R-permit trucks not allowed.
Same with EV school...
I want criminal charges against NYS regarding EV nonsense.
Especially what they are doing to big rigs and buses.
I want more diesel school buses and big rigs on the road in NYS.
My brother who lives in New Hartford sent me this: Court's Latest Ruling on New York's Gun Laws
This is an interesting take:
There are still places licensed gun owners cannot carry.
"Where I think it would be excluded would be somewhere like the Yahnundasis, which is not open to the public...
I'm sure they reviewed everything, hence the quick follow up email. They probably don't want the attention as they would see it as negative publicity.
I'd love to post the video as I know some folks really love dash cam videos, but it's not my video.
My coworker handled it well too. Didn't get...
Had an interesting day at work today. A coworker who was driving the company truck a few weeks ago got a ticket (mailed to our company) for failing to stop for a stopped school bus with a $300 penalty.
However, the owner of the company has both front and rear facing dash cams that are 1080p...
I call these laws "paperwork and cash" laws, because all they do is jam up people for cash and produce lots of paperwork.
If the dude isn't a threat to anyone I really don't see a problem.
Because that makes too much sense.
I was in one of my LGS last week, and some poor sap ran into where they got delayed for like 2 days just to buy a few boxes of clay shot.
A right delayed is a right denied.
Back when I was younger, (2000's era), I wanted to see EV and Hydrogen (mostly HHO) take off.
I wanted a fully electric car for around limited town use only. Something a little better than a battery golf cart. Nothing impressive, just something to go get the newspaper and a cup of joe. Even if...
I've been reloading for a very long time... but today, I dunno.... I was at the range and I had my different cases out with different loads and bullets and folks were asking me reloading questions. They were also amazed at how I had my cases organized with the same weight bullet, but different...
I want to say 30-40% of the time it's due to insufficient power distribution that was found out later on into the planning phases (and yes, that also includes sometimes ground breaking!). The rest of it could be zoning, fallout of leases/contracts, etc, etc.
There was a remote private college...
The company I work for does rough in work for EV chargers (as well as a many other areas, and yes, that includes regular gas stations!). A lot of places that want EV chargers, they don't have the infrastructure. I have well over 50+ instances where the project will get to about 10-20% in and it...
I should put an anti-spark plug and an anti-battery logo on the back of my diesel truck.........
Ahh, but I wish to stay anonymous out on the road...
Things were much different 30 years ago.
Back then I got a speeding ticket, and I "knew" people, and I would just go give them the ticket and like magic, poof it was gone, but if course with some antics. I only did that once, and I've been clean ever since. Learned my lesson on that one... I'm...
They fail to see that when someone (minor or not) wants to do a school shooting, they will do so as they so please. Laws and certainly not videos games are going to stop this.
If I had the time, I'd love to remake this game where administration and teachers had guns to protect what matters most...
Thank Bill Clinton in 1996 for more deregulation...
