a lot of good points said here. I bought a 300 BLK upper because it was a simple ~$200 addition to my AR15. It takes the same bolt and magazine. Was it an impulse buy? Probably. But if you want a inexpensive .30 cal semiauto and already have an AR, I would recommend looking into it. However...
