The issue is my cabin is in Oneida County - the area of the Adirondacks (I actually think it is slightly outside of the Adirondacks) falls into Oneida county So cabin and permit are both Oneida County

Yep - cabin is in my name If I give it to my son, and provide a written "letter confirming the fact" i assume he can keep it at the cabin - or would that be an issue as he owns it and leave sit in a cabin that is not in his name..................probably an issue thinking about it

It 100% has an address - evidenced by the taxes i pay each year!! I dont have a NYS drivers license which is one of the reasons I believe I am classed as an out of state permit holder

I am sure they will try to revoke it and ask that I "surrender" my hand guns which are on the permit Thankfully i have my CT and FL permits which fully cover any guns shown on the NYS permit - so they wont be getting anything handed to them

Thanks for the suggestion. I went to 3 different departments and all refused to sign I just dont know of anyone down here who knows me and would sign this - not even at the local range Totally crazy - had my NY permit for almost 10 years now and will lose it over this

100% agree - FL ran a background check and confirmed nothing criminal or pending - how on earth can FL answer any of the other questions - how can ANY department answer those - no addictions, no mental health issues, etc Totally unacceptable really and basically they have me by the balls and...
