Like someone said in the other thread, send them a giant cardboard box with the paperwork in it. Make sure to use lots of tape. Hell, maybe an envelop in a box in a box in a box in a box just to be safe. Let them deal with a hundred giant boxes rather than envelopes.
You failed to mention that POS Bloomberg in the picture too.
This only serves to prove they all give zero fucks about us commoners and also give zero fucks if we know it.
Called Wednesday and the lady said give it a couple of more days. Got home last night (Thursday, October 20th) and it was in the mail box. So since it probably didn't leave the post office until September 29th and was mysteriously delayed for 3 days after my wife's I'd say they're under 3...
Envelope arrived today with my wife's updated plastic card and a paper saying to check the numbers on the new plastic against the old. No green slip and no amended card for me. Kind of strange. I'm going to call tomorrow to try and see what's going on with mine. Maybe mine will arrive with the...
While I agree with you the "waitress" example is not a hood one as establishments/servers have been held liable for over serving a customer. I don't think it's right but it was established a long time ago.
It used to be that you had 24 hours to fix equipment violations (light out, missing plate, bald tire, tint) and show them to a police agency and they'd be dropped. Do they not do that anymore?
If we're gonna add insulation to the mix then were going to have to assume it's an exterior wall, no? If so you should be doing sheet rock, insulation. 1/2 plywood or obx, siding and the foam that goes under it. At that point it's likely that most uninvited "guests" come into your house at...
"Why use a shotgun?"
Because in NY it takes a minimum of 6 months to get a pistol license and you'll need something to protect yourself in the meantime. ;)
Yeah, that's the up side to this county. I can't see the reason the amendments have to go through the judges. I'm sure they've got better stuff to do. My biggest gripe with this way of doing is it makes buying a pistol at a show pointless/impossible.
The less attention my vehicles attract the better. The less interaction I have with law enforcement the less chance of something going horribly and needlessly wrong.
I tried to do my part but they don't run the NICS check until your license is amended and you can pick the gun up. Planning on doing my part for October.
Women are definitely getting more involved and its great. When we started dating my wife didn't even like the idea of having a gun in the house (not sure where she got it from as her dad grew up handling them and is definitely not anti-gun). Now with a little prodding from me when I went for my...
Suffolk should be orange. I know guys at work from there that have a carry license and they're restricted with the standard stuff I hear referred to as "sportsman" all the time.
A little of both. I've shot a few rounds through the Shield and like it better. My main gripe with the Ruger is the same as everybody else's. Too much slack in the trigger and not smooth but kind of gritty. I'm not one to sell my stuff so if probably just keep it and get a Shield too. LOL!
Ruger LC9 in a DeSantis SofTuck IWB holster. I'd like a S&W M&P Shield 9mm but this one was a good deal and gets the job done. Trying to decide if I'm going to do a trigger kit and some other upgrades to make it better or just sell it off and get the S&W.
Hmmm. Is 2 weeks really longer than normal? When was the last time you added a pistol? Everything I read in a similar post on the old board said 3 weeks minimum. Here's to hoping you're right and its closer to two weeks.
How can it be he hasn't been charged with anything yet? :(
Cuomo vetoes annexation oversight bill again
The fact that he even mentions that something might go against the Constitution is more irony than I can stand.
Consider this too. If you buy 1000 rounds for lets say $225 online with free shipping then compare it to $250 for a thousand rounds locally then add 8%+ tax you're getting an even better deal online.
A friend of mine gave me the advice to buy a box of ammo with each paycheck. I try to stick to that suggestion although occasionally I won't buy for 2 months then I'll buy several boxes. It all comes down to getting the right sale and then if I can stack a coupon on top of the sale. Buying guns...
Went to see a concert at a local park. It definitely felt strange with it tucked in my waist, especially when I was standing there talking with one of the local cops that was on duty and in uniform. LOL.
I figured a thread like this would come in handy and since I dropped an amendment form in the mail at the local post office yesterday afternoon I'd start it off.
September 28th mailed amendment form to add a new pistol for my wife to our permits. Let's see how long it takes. :)
Seems like Orange County mostly gives unrestricted. I know several people with CCW's here (including one with an assault charge from many years ago and he's unrestricted) and only one has administrative restrictions.
