    Thanks bud! I’ll post some pics when I pick it up from the FFL :). I do agree, there is no definite answer to this since the law is so vague. I will take all the precautions necessary to try to avoid giving them a reason to give me a hard time. I think with the Means Arms mag lock once installed...

    Also I can keep all features (pistol grip, adjustable stock, flash suppressor, and bayonet lug) as long as I fix the 10 round mag with a permanent solution such as Mean Arms mag lock or DD correct? Thanks

    Exactly! I thought about it and it doesn't make sense and I would probably be kicking myself in the long run buying a cheap entry level AR dumping a ton of money into it saying to myself why I didn’t get the more quality AR. It’s pricey but I know I can trust BCM and I know what I am getting...

    Yes, the FFL just has to make it NY compliant before transferring when it arrives. I am not buying directly from BCM, using a gun shop in GA.
