Ok, a bit about the build. First thing I noticed about the Mossberg Shockwave is that Mossberg's flat blue finish, and how susceptible it is to wear and scratches, especially on the action bars and mag tube.
Just racking the slide few times shows bare metal. No WAY was I, Mr clumsy, going to be...
Ok, company all left, ham's put away, and dishes are done. On to the light.
Having used various scatterguns in my past, one thing that drove me up a effin WALL was getting it hung up on shit. Door frames, bushes and trees, car mirrors, hell even my own damned clothes!
See, I'm clumsy. Ya know...
What I did was shape the rear ears first by using a big pair of Robogrip pliers with the protective covers on. Then, shaping the front ears with a C clamp. Add the front bolt only, and tap it into place, THEN tightening the bolt after. It was impossible to install the shield 1st, and then get...
Bought a new bead sight from Numrich. It's from an Ithaca, but I was able to screw it in after the shield was installed and properly aligned.

In this thread I'll be documenting my 12g Mossberg Shockwave build, where I add a stock adapter, brace, walnut furniture, a heat shield, a sling and sling mount, and a homemade light I made from a mountain bike light!
First, a Tacstar Universal Heat Shield.

If they have your PP info as well as info from 4473 purchases, they know exactly what you have. Hiding, loaning, none of that will work.

Here's what I'm building now. I'm using the Tacstar stock adapter. Just make sure your length of...
Nah, kinda set on brass. I'm taking my Mossberg Shockwave old school with original police corncob forend and a custom birdshead grip. If I can't find brass, I'll probably go steel.
I considered painting, too. But with a sling rattling around on it, it would chip right off real quick.
Talking to the ebay seller in UK now. We'll see.
I found these on ebay UK, but I'll be damned if I'm paying $20 shipping for a handful of brass screws!

Anyboby know if Weirauch has a US distributor?
Anybody got a handful of these kicking around, (condition unimportant)? Or where to buy them in the US?
Only place I've found them are on ebay UK for $8 each plus $20 shipping!
Thanks!
Their mistake was trying to seize it in big lumps. If they were smarter and just went house-to-house, they would have got them all.
Just like the democrats are doing.
