Not sure where you are but bulletguy sells reloading stuff and could help point you in the right direction. In a couple of months I'll be looking to purchase a Dillon XL650. Never reloaded anything, but for me buy once cry once.
That's a beautiful gun. That makes me want one now. I've read a lot about the Henry rifles, and seen a couple videos. I'd like to get one someday. But I've never shot a lever gun. My old work partner has a couple of really old winchesters. Beautiful guns.
Surprised no one said vortex. I have the sparc 2 on my AR and love it, plus you can't beat The no questions lifetime warranty they offer. Saw something where someone accidentally had a accidental discharge and shot their spotting scope with their 300WM lol. They exchanged the spotting scope no...
I don't see anything wrong with old threads. Willjr has a point with getting info from old threads. Plus sometimes when someone new comes to the site and comments years later, it brings new discussion with the old posters. For example the rave years ago could of been about how great hexmags...
Well I thought the recipes would be a good spot for people to discuss food related things, tips and tricks, etc. But as you said we really aren't a high traffic site, and there aren't many posts. But giving things like recipes a chance, might give others some extra things to talk about, and get...
I was thinking since I saw one of the guys here post About smoking ribs, can we please have a recipe forum? Not just for game food, but maybe just general recipes so people can exchange? And maybe a sub forum for the AR15? Just to keep them separate from the other long guns? Not sure if either...
I have a gen 1 - 10/30 hex mag on my first AR build. I must say I don't like it at all. It really wiggles in the mag well more than my pmag, and Has double fed A couple of times, and causes jams pretty often. Didn't know there was that many problems until I just saw this thread lol.
That's some ignorant bullshit. Those are people's lives and all their belongings being lost and these people are being assholes. Karma is a bitch and it'll be headed their way eventually,. They should feel sick for saying such hateful things and making a natural disasaster political. Scumbags.
Yeah true. I've only shot on state land in Ellenville. Trooper barracks isn't too far away, so sometimes they circle the quarry thing in their helicopter sometimes. Makes you uncomfortable when shooting ARs for sure. Just would like some land in the woods to just shoot on. Thanks for all your input
anyone shoot on state land? I belong to a range but sometimes it's fun to just go shoot on state land with a group of friends that might not be in the same range as you, or your range has a certain number of guests allowed policy. I've shot on state land in Ellenville, just was curious to know...
I've ordered 2 stripped lowers, and a ruger American rifle in 30-06. Nothing but pleasant transactions and the only way I really buy now. No tax and fast shipping. I've recommended them to friends and they have all had great expierences. I kind of refuse to buy from buds. I've read a lot of...
She needs to mind her business! Everyone needs to be able to make a buck or 2 in this economy. But yes we all know "2017 is a sensitive year". Hey Maureen when you go get a cone, stop in and buy yourself a gun!!!
hey guys, I remember seeing a post the other day saying that someone was in the market for a H&K VP9. I just received an email from palmetto saying it's on sale for $499 with free shipping. Pretty steep discount and no tax. I tried finding the user so I could PM them but no luck. I figured this...
I've heard that they are great and then I have heard horrifying stories from people dealing with buds. Like firearms coming in damanged with serious chips in the finish and everything. So I won't buy from there. I like grabagun, I've ordered multiple times and they have been great. Everyone has...
I just advised my buddy to build his first AR. He was going to buy a complete NY compliant, ugly neutered one it and it was like 1k. He had this great idea to buy this gun and then he was going to change things out to his liking. So I advised him, at that point you change out the hamdguard, the...
That's why I said don't mark my words. Everyone's experience will be different. But most of the time you get what you pay for and that's the truth. Someone had told me that the ptac is their lower quality line. I love the stripped lower I bought from them. It's on my favorite AR. And an extra...
Don't mark my words, but someone told me to stay away from the PTAC line by palmetto. All I have bought from them is a stripped lower that I bought as a "Belm" but there wasn't a scratch or anything on it. If your friend doesn't want to research the parts,You should just see what his budget is...
Every time the kit comes back in stock they immediately sell out. So I assume they are pretty good. There are quite a few reviews online and video reviews on YouTube as well. Everyone seems happy. Give it a go and report back to us!
Like 10 years ago I found a little shack in the woods that was made out of a couple small pieces of plywood and 2X4s with a blanket and empty box of rubbers inside lol. And when I say little shack, I was like 14 when I found it, and I could barely fit in it. I've also found a couple of old...
