Nice piece!
I put a Wilson Combat lo-pro safety in mine. I like it a lot. It deletes the left hand (right side) safety and makes the right hand safety lever almost flush with the slide.
Hey guys, looking for an FFL to do a private sale in the Buffalo area for a reasonable fee. Seems like some shops won't do person to person transfers, only sales from other FFLs. Anyone have any recommendations or good experiences? Thanks.
Yes, I think everyone here is aware of that.
I found what I was looking for check out this guy's title post, especially #2 about the Gold Dots:

Wow, 30" is a lot. Those Critical Duty's look good, I think tnoutdoors9 got 16.5" of pen. out of his G19. I've seen some anecdotal stuff online supposedly from a medical examiner talking about LE 9mm loads and effectiveness. I'll try to find it again, I thought it was helpful.
@Willjr75 , if you're worried about penetration look at Gold Dot 115 grain hp's (standard pressure, not +p). Based on tnoutdoors9's YouTube test, it penetrated ~17.5" in gel. That seems sufficient to me. Muzzle velocity was 1200 fps, with ~369 ft-lbs of energy, coming out of a 4" G19 barrel.
To my knowledge, no. The deadline for registration has come and passed. His options are to convert it to comply with existing laws, remove it from the state and keep it elsewhere, or simply not comply with the restrictions (at his own risk).
I actually have an adjustable gas block, but I don't want to rehash the argument here and muck up Fallout's thread. I'm just saying it can be personal preference (as long as it's reliable in your gun obviously).
If you think you'll like a heavier buffer, then don't let these guys talk you out of it :D.
They disagree with me, but I like the recoil impulse better with the heavier ones. As long as you test it and make sure it's reliable in your gun, then I think it's fine. But if you're looking to save...
In the next couple of months I'll probably grab something new. I'm trying to decide between an FN FNSc, some kind of revolver, or building an AR pistol in a non-5.56 caliber.
Nah, those would make the grip even thicker. I'm trying to slim it up a bit with the ones I ordered. Besides I'm not a big fan of lasergrips in general, for me if I'm going to use a laser, I'll put it on the rail, YMMV.

But shipping might put you over. They do free ship at $50. If you checkout, I think you can use code RKET4 for 5% off order.
Yeah, I'm going to put it on the license Wednesday when the permit office is in Cheektowaga, less of a drive and I have the day off. It's nice that at least the amendment is pretty instant. I should be able to get the range to mess around with it that afternoon.
