You likely have stronger hands than a lot of the population, whether you believe it or not. And, you likely shoot/train more than many gun owners too...
Is much fun is the old caliber debate is, the OP was asking for advice on a pistol to carry in warm months. The size and weight advantage the 9s offer over the 45 make the 9 a winner here. The lightest 10 round 45 is over 30 oz. loaded and pretty wide to boot. If you like to carry an extra...
I would say the m&P 45 compact that holds 10 would be nice. I shoot it very well and it feels great. But, it going with a 9mm the M&P is carrying a 15 round gun that you can only have 10 so not worth carrying the extra size. So, in 9 mm the Glock 48 or 43x or the p365 would be my choice...
There are several companies who make Glock 22 conversion kits (that suck) so it seem that the masses did want this. After all the G19 is the most popular pistol in the world. The only dumb part about it is that it was not introduced years ago.
If they made a PCC it would be useless for us in...
I hope I didnt come across as saying 3 die sets were bad or anything like that. Great ammo can be made with the 3 dies.
When I started loading I asked about it and a few guys that used 3 die set went to 4 and preferred it. I started with a single stage press so it was an extra setup and...
They dont want the Bill Clinton thing to happen. Impeached but not removed. So unless the case is so big and the court of public opinion is in favor removing it wont happen.
Some of the complaints about the 357 sig is that the bullets can fragmentate on impact from what I have read.
The guys who load the 9mm major F around a bunch and have some issues too. Its just pushing too hard. Many of the guys who load it will only use the case once. Its kinda...
No following because it doesn't make sence. I cant see any reason to do it unless playing the games. I could be wrong but if one wanted a more powerful 9mm it might be better to start with a 38 super anyway.
Also HP bullets are designed to work with in certain velocities so in a crazy heavy...
Some local guys shoot USPA and load for 9 major, seems like some serious loads. In talking to them they didnt think my G34 would be a good pistol, they favored the heavy metal pistols for that.
If not shooting in the games I cant see any reason to make/buy or use the round.
BTW, whats the...
I just saw the new SAS model and I do like what they did with the controls. I have not shot the 365 a ton but I would lock the slide while shooting. I know that could be a training issue, but under stress I do not want to need to be perfect for the pistol to operate. The sight is interesting...
I have read a bunch on ND stories with Glocks and some say it was the fault of Glock because you need to pull the trigger it take them apart.
I have a hard time believing that a pistol went off in a holster by bumping into a table....
I made some 9mm rounds and they tested ok so I made about 250 more and now I need more bullets. The only real problem I had was a broken decapping pin, so I pulled the pin out of the 45 die to finish up. Since I was out of 9mm bullets I ret up the 45 tool head and mad some test rounds.
The...
Well, I think the x5 is the best shooting striker fired pistol I have shot. In fairness I only ran 2 mag through it. We had to mount the delta point pro dot and get it zeroed in and of course the owner was pretty excited to shoot it for the first time. The extra weight of the frame was very...
Cool thanks!!!
Yes I did get the all the manuals. I figure once I get it running I will make enough ammo to hold me over for a while and try the case feeder with the 9mm since I have all the parts. I dont load as many of the other calibers so I dont know if the feeder would be worth it in the...
