Sunday - June 30 winner -- and the last one - is 331. Thank you for your support - The winner tonight is the wife of one of our club members, who sells 10 or 12 tickets for us every year. -- What I really like about this guy - is that whenever I take some tickets over to him - or pick them up...
Only 3 nights left guys, I know you can't all win -- but I wish you ALL good luck in the next 3 draws. Thanks for supporting us - may all your shots be in the X-ring
Some clubs, depending on their rules, consider ALL hulls that hit the ground to be their property. A dedicated trap or skeet shooter will generally keep his hulls for reloading.
Just to let you guys know - this year, our club awarded 1 scholarship to one of our local high school graduates, for $ 1,000.00. -- This brings our total over the past several years to 18 scholarships for that amount each. Thank you for helping make this possible.
This is a great program - but there is / or was, legislation proposed in NY state to PROHIBIT ANY FIREARMS RELATED SPORTS, INCLUDING ARCHEY, -FROM TAKING PLACE IN ANY NY SCHOOL DISTRICTS. -- I'm not sure if this has been voted on, - any of you guys have any knowledge about that legislation?
RAFFLE KARMA DRAWING - FOR ONE OF THE KNIVES MENTIONED IN A POST SOMEWHERE'S ABOVE WAS WON BY A MEMBER IN THE 13350 ZIP CODE. CONGRATULATIONS !
GOOD LUCK TO ALL FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH - 14 DAYS LEFT - LOTS OF GOOD PRIZES TO COME.
Hell, Pennsylvania ain't that far - and the way things are going here in Cuomo's hell-hole, we may be driving there regularly just to buy ammo...just saying.
Sorry for the omission, Doc - will try to remember for next year. -- There's a lot goes on the beginning of June - raffle, fishing derby - remembering where I put my pants!
Fishing derby has been posted here before, - maybe not this year. It's every year, the 2nd Saturday in June. It's been an annual thing for over 60 years now.
Your fingers, or hand anywhere near the muzzle of a loaded gun is a no-no. Ever rest the barrel / muzzle on a sandbag and have the muzzle blast rip the bag? Flesh much softer - just saying. Press check? with finger next to the muzzle, - another no-no. A well known professional shooter lost...
Our clubs annual fishing derby for kids was yesterday - you guys help make this happen - thanks for your support. About 300 kids caught a lot of fish, ate a lot of hot dogs, got some nice door prizes and had a great time. -- THANK YOU !
The numbers have been updated daily - go back to the third page here to check them...just saying. Post # 84 -- Daily updates of winners will be made THERE -
If you are looking to sell any 'higher end' guns - Doug Turnbull's shop is probably the place to do it. A friend had very good results with consigning a few firearms there, just saying.
Guy at my range had a new one Monday night. Nice ergonomics, decent trigger, a couple guys went thru a few boxes of plain vanilla 115 gr. RN - no problems. It can be had with tritium sights. Didn't shoot it myself - was busy counting money & raffle tickets.
Patience, Grasshopper - good fortune is like a butterfly, - if pursued, it will evade you - if you sit in quiet contemplation - it will come and sit on your shoulder.
Jimmy Kimmel is a crayon eating, window-licking short-bus moron. Truth is, I haven't watched ANY late night talk shows since their main agendas turned to bashing President Trump - like my Gramma used to say - "Fuck 'em and feed 'em fish!"
We notify the winner every night - and if we can't reach you - we keep trying until we do. There's an old post on these forums somewhere about a lady that won - she moved a few times, no forwarding address - it took me 5 years, but we finally found her and gave her prize. It's the right thing...
