The COLLAPSE WONT Be Like Most People Think!!!

Or as in some countries just make a change in law saying they own the land but allow you to use it. Until they decide you’re not fully using it.

    Recert repercussions? (Pistol permit)

Because the authority for permits rest at County level. The requirement is an artificial insert by the State not within their authority. Penal Law, Article 400.00, Section 5 (3) says County and City; NOT State...

    Recert repercussions? (Pistol permit)

There is no conduit between NYSP and County when it isn't done. County is the issue authority, State created the requirement with no enforcement resourcing or authority....until you do something that makes them look.

    Recert repercussions? (Pistol permit)

Have done or are leaning / polling? We'll see; especially in NYS. With fire arms minorities and religious folks should be paying more attention to current stats and trends. Self protection as a whole has become infringed upon in this state. All the way down to plastic knuckles and other items...

    Recert repercussions? (Pistol permit)

The People bearly take part in the electoral process much less periodic constructive interface with their elected! We often hear Sheeple. This is part of that label. We allow distraction and chasing to overwhelm doing right and standing up for it.

    Recert repercussions? (Pistol permit)

That and no funding. When they stood up the background check portion of the NYSP, there was no funding or provision for it. The folks that got slapped with that job had to scramble and didn't have a lot of resourcing. The disconnect is also between State and County communication. Permits are...

NYC shop owner with concealed carry permit faces 7 years

Unfortunately, in this state property is not justification. Once the two were outside the store, pursuing them and even what the prosecutor will call baiting them with continued emotional discussion pushes it outside of the justification zone. Serious injury or death to self or others. Once...

NYC shop owner with concealed carry permit faces 7 years

Keep in mind, a legal decision is not made by the responding officers. Legal decisions take place in the court room. If some DA feels it needs to be decided in court you will always FACE charges. One of the greatest blows to legal carriers was when USCC had to leave NYS because of the NRA...

    Recert repercussions? (Pistol permit)

Nothing so far. I did a transfer on someone (hypothetically) and she was not aware. Hadn't done it in eight years. She knocked it out on the internet and got her notice she was good for another 5 years (Before the three year thing). So no-one is checking or taking action......yet.

    Mandatory gun buyback bills introduced

All good points. But an FFL can't accept any non-NYS compliant fire arm or a pistol from someone without a permit because we would be contributing to a felony. Yet gun buy back with no questions asked you can make your own (people have spent about $20 at Lowes and done this), turn in what has...

    Mandatory gun buyback bills introduced

Imagine if they used FLL's to support this effort. And the guns wouldn't become paperclips and could actually make it back to the original owner. Imagine. But perhaps that isn't the goal. More facilitation with no real goal.

Could SCOTUS Eliminate ALL Firearm Permits ?

Nice meme. Now to get that applied with legal precedent and allow us law abiders to stay that way.

Could SCOTUS Eliminate ALL Firearm Permits ?

Correct. The Spirit is the permit and process ensures no Prohibited Person is allowed to have a fire arm. Now, we all know the criminals don't do this anyway. The more invasive the process is where the SCOTUS needs to be more clear. It is also why many of the current NYS processes need...
