Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

Rochester, yes. Not negotiable. I kinda understand the handgun thing, not really sure what it takes/means. If they’re really worried about wheelguns, they aren’t worried about me. I can stash those, no worries, at my parents’ house.

Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

Semiauto is what I’m going for, eventually. Willing to be patient. I gather break-action doubles and bolt-action guns aren’t really a concern? Planning on selling my Marlin 336, but I presume it wouldn’t be a big hassle to bring in either? As for semi-auto, my interests lie in circa WWII...

Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

I might go after a carry license someday. That’s not my immediate concern. My parents live about half a mile away, I can stash whatever there. I’ll get my papers. No big problem there.

Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

I’ve done the run-around delay things for years...kinda works out, as the in-laws are paying a house down payment and starting papers for my wife to work as a Medicare paid caregiver for her oma. Not a bad deal.

Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

Mostly long barreled easy stuff. Biggest mag: 10 in a Savage .22lr. The papering comes from kinda lame stuff: .38 and .22 wheelguns. Told you I’m eclectic.

Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

I doubt that, but there’s still a lot of papering. NY is exclusively for family reasons. Since I’m not really into the most modern tacticool stuff, I don’t actually possess anything which I currently understand as prohibited, but it will still take a bit of papering to bring my stuff. I’m...

Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

As long as I have my family around me, a back yard with a grill, and some beer, I won’t be miserable. Was near the bottom of my list of places to live, if I may be so bold, but it’s an adventure. I don’t want to dwell on the negatives. Just want to get myself legally straight and partake in my...

Hey folks. Moving to NYS soon.

Hello all. This seems to be the place I need! A bit about me: I’m a mid-30s family guy, and an over the road truck driver. I’m born and raised in California, but didn’t get into guns until I moved to Texas when I was 20. Cars are my real passion, and while I will admit I am, at heart, a desert...
