That's true. In worst case I can always put my pile driver to use and take them apart but I don't anticipate any issues.
In retrospect I should have done 10 first.
Got my delivery from RCBS today.
Had to order their tamper crimp/seating die and shell holder since Lee's aren't too great for .50 AE.
The rim on the Hornady brass is a mm or so too thick and won't fit in the Lee shell holder, and well their crimp die doesn't do shit.
Set up the crimp and...
Matt Gaetz will be awesome as AG. Dan Bongino said it right, all the people who are guilty about something are the ones who are terrified by his appointment.
Marco Rubio I don't trust as far as I can throw him, Tulsi would be a better Secretary of State.
And Brandon fucking Herrera as Director...
Managed to salvage one of the cases, so 99 rounds now. The other case was beyond salvage so I turned it into a key chain for my gun lock keys.
Waste not.
I wonder if there would be any response by SCOTUS if someone would draft a letter imploring them to send the US Marshals to arrest the Das Cunt Kommandant Hochul.
She has violated their decision in NYSPRA v. Bruen, illegals situation, and the many other infringements against us in the ninth...
The Autodisk doesn't handle the powder capacity for the large rifle rounds and in the Lee Modern Reloading manual it calls for the Autodrum.
I had to damn near screw out the rifle powder tube on the Autodisk all the way to get it to drop 45.0gr of powder when I was reloading 7.5x55mm...
Finally got my first batch of 7.5x55mm made. I would have had a nice 100, but I fucked up two brass.
The Lee Autodrum rifle tube was at its limit. I almost screwed out all the way to drop 45.0gr (it was consistently dropping 45.2) but that's fine. The "Not Exceed" in both the Lee manual and...
A simple reason for me on the SKS is you can use steel cased ammo without fear of the case getting stuck. My friend fucked up the barrel on his 6.5 Grendel upper shooting steel cased.
I remember when a SKS could be had for $99, sold in a barrel.
I havent had any reliability issues at all. The bolt stays open after the last round with no issue.
The only thing I haven't done yet is to mill down bottom of the bolt. If you don't do this, you can't remove an empty mag or insert a full mag without the bolt being locked back.
There is also a...
Here is my Norinco I got that was in pretty bad shape. I tossed the stock since it was cracked and split down the middle from the trigger housing all the way down, it was being held together by fiber glass.
I chopped the barrel to carbine length and recrowned it using the brass bolt method. Put...
Stefanik and Zeldin taking those positions would be a huge loss to NYS conservative politics.
It's great that Trump wants to surround himself with qualified, trustworthy and intelligent people, but damn, we would be fucked.
SCOTUS needs to start reaching out to heads of respective State Police departments and order them to take into custody any Governor who willfully violates any constitutional right and SCOTUS decision that sets legal precedent supporting said constitutional right.
I am not embarrassed to say, I have a little bit of tears in my eyes watching the speech. It is so fantastic that we are in a position to restore our Republic back to the once great nation we were.
This is absolutely awesome.
Thank you to each and everyone of you who voted for Trump despite NY being a losing battle. The sheer fact that the percentage of people in NY who voted for Trump is astounding!!!!!
Lmao...
They are boarding up in liberal cities. I say, let them fucking burn.
Time to reap what you sow. Pay your penalty for voting blue and for failed policies.
I wouldn't use any lead exposed bullets just because of the potential fouling issues with the gas port.
Magnum Research said bullets must have the lower half copper jacketed.
It's WAY too much of an expensive fuck up to chance it with lead exposed bullets. You have to buy a new barrel which is...
I'm not sure if there are many of you who reload 50 AE, but I figured I'd share some of experience so far.
The Lee shell holder that comes with the die set doesn't like Hornady brass. It is less than 1mm thicker than the Starline and Speer brass but enough to cause issues.
I ordered an RCBS...
500 count box of 300gr 50 cal FMJ flat nose for my Desert Eagle 50AE habit. Also got the Lee carbine die set, that's a boring picture. I still need to get the RCBS taper crimp.
Im actually happy about this. The fucking salt is a nightmare to vehicles. The rust from one season of salting was insane on my pickup.
In PA they use sand and it works perfectly fine. When I go up to my house in Lake Ariel I have zero issues.
Here is a short video of the Pile Driver in action pulling apart the 50 AE unknown reloads.

Got my magnum cartridge carrier in the mail today.
Worked like a charm disassembling the (60) loose unknown 50AE reloads I bought at a garage sale in PA.
Now I can used the primed brass for 50AE reloads and the Hornady 50 cal FTX bullets to reload for my friends 50 Beowulf. I'll have to find...
To trouble shoot, I'd suggest doing some single stage action in getting your cases resized and primed.
Take out all the dies except your powder drop. Set your depth level and do a couple of test drops.
This way you can see for sure if it is the powder drop that is causing the issues and ruling...
Spoke with Magnum Research today, @spat you were correct about the lead flat nose being fine. They said as long as the bottom and sides are jacketed it is fine.
I also did more searching online and found that the Hornady FTX 50AE bullets were designed for the Freedom Arms revolver 50AE.
I'll...
Got some more upgrades for my Loadmasters. Now that I have two, it sucks having to buy two of everything when it comes to upgrading these things.
Enhanced guide fingers made by ADePDesigns on Etsy.
Andy is a great guy and have no problems supporting him, especially after weathering the two...
Thanks.
Any idea if the Hornady FTX rounds are safe to use with the DEagle?
When I look up 50 cal FTX rounds on Hornady's website, the only one is listed for 500 SW. I am not sure why these 50AE casings were loaded with those bullets if they don't match the formulary.
