Well, it's finally home. Purchased in late February, added to pistol permit in Ulster county on February 25th. Then the covid shut down everything. Finally got paper work May 19th from the sheriffs department with the purchase coupon. Now my background check gets delayed. FFL doesn't hear...

Just a update. The judge has removed all restrictions for my permit ! From the time I submitted the paperwork with the @OnSight Firearms Training certificate it took about a month. I can highly recommend @OnSight Firearms Training to anyone who wants to further their training.

You could get any AR15 you want and put in a Tier 5 Solutions bolt catch. All it does is make it so the bolt locks back after every round. Release the bolt and chamber the next round. I have one on my AR and it works great. non of that fixed magazine or no pistol grip.
