I think I actually messaged that guy and got some more info. It’s got some weird condition stuff going on, and it looks like it had its import markings removed and the stock messed with. Very weird.

Yeah surefire really only makes it to the short list because of how ubiquitous it is, muzzle devices for everything and track record. I'm really interested in the hux/oss cans. Haven't really seen anything negative about them.

Honestly minimal POI shift would be ideal, I know that is somewhat gun specific. "Quietness" is not really that much of a concern, but mounting will be. Probably looking for a TI. I was looking at CGS, OSS and Surefire as the 3 contenders. Edit: Also worked with an LMT can and that was really nice.

Most likely a .30 caliber can first. Then maybe branch out to like a 556 specific, 9mm and so on. I've got a scar17 and an mr556. Probably get new muzzle devices or those and just use a .30 for both.
