muzzle device

Can i have a 14 inch barrel with a 2 inch pinned and welded muzzle device so my rifle isn't so long? I found a nice muzzle device but it's 2 and 3/8 inches long and makes the barrel 18 inches long which I'm not a fan of. Thanks in advance.

Hey all again, I purchased a 14.5" barrel asking for muzzle comps that come pin ready with a pin hole already milled? Please let me know what products you like... Can I put a small screw thru the pin hole?
