just use a empty hull with a live primer .. no harm .. sounds like a firecracker ..
PS .. if its fun .. its banned in NY under some hidden law ..
Last I looked I couldn’t find those grenade primer trips anywhere. I wanted to set them up to scare off a bear that kept getting into the GF’s bird feeders. Ended up with a couple of home made ones that use .22 blanks for a nail gun

If he's already gotten the bird feeder he will be back.The first time he trips it, it will scare him off,but he'll come back and eventually it wont scare him anymore.As long as he smells that feeder he'll keep coming back,they are persistent bastards.Only way to make em leave is to remove the attractant,the feeder.Last I looked I couldn’t find those grenade primer trips anywhere.
