Equal protection would say that the "Military" will become a separate class entitled to benefits unavailable to the 18-20 yr olds in Chicago then... It'll be called "common sense legislation." In reality, it is pushing the nation onto the proverbial slippery slope.
Also, why create legislation that would prevent 18-20 year old women, who move away from home and live alone, from obtaining a firearm for protection? Few, if any, mass shooters are women. Well, because laws just singling out men would be sexually discriminatory. Thus, 18-20 year old women will just have to be sacrificed.... for the greater good.
The Leftist Liberals will never admit that legislation cannot be used to perfect humanity and that the more legislating they do the more people they harm. In the end, the government that governs least governs best.
Unenforceable... And once it is taken to where it needs to go, will be struck down! The pain comes in the fact that States and municipalities can "IGNORE" guidance previously provided by SCOTUS rulings with "IMPUNITY"... because you know, it's for the children after all!

This is beyond a violation of CIVIL RIGHTS. Put aside the 2A for a moment. We already know that many Judges hate the 2A, but a very, very clear violation of Civil Rights, this can and will be a great thing.
