Well if you mean the people, yes. But we are a deeply divided bunch and asleep. Not able to think critically anymore and we only get information from sources that support our feelings. Every year there are less of us and more of them. It's only a matter of time.
That is what it is devolving into.

Thank you for contacting me. I greatly value your input, and I will make sure to remember your thoughts in the future.
I have said repeatedly that Congressman Adam Schiff has consistently acted irresponsibly, abusing his power as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. His conduct has been embarrassing and unbecoming of a member of Congress. It has also become a significant distraction from the important work that the House is diligently pursuing.
There is evidence after multiple investigations that Schiff has been lying to the American people about Russian interference in our elections, which is why I supported Speaker McCarthy’s decision in January to remove him from the House Intelligence Committee.
I stand firm in my belief that the allegations against Congressman Schiff should be taken seriously and examined by the Ethics Committee.
However, unlike the Democrats, who have weaponized the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to go after political opponents, I believe in the rule of law and due process.
The first vote regarding Schiff was a procedural one, meaning it would not have resulted in the Congressman's censure. I voted to table the resolution as it had provisions that were unconstitutional and did not allow for due process of law.
We voted on the constitutional version of the resolution on Wednesday, June 21st, and this is why I have voted for it.
