I lived there. It was impossible to get a carry permit. Home own was tough. If they do own, it's hunting rifles and shotguns.
Funny, that's how it went down in Australia too with the shit Government was doing to its people during Covid. Disarmed populace got kicked around.

Revisiting the title of this thread I would like to remind folks here of what happened to property owned on Long Island after Hurricane Sandy: how many people got nothing but fucked out of their (destroyed) homes with nothing but hollow promises from the government(s)...the Folks of Maui are going to learn the lesson of Native Americans "relocated" by Government than already had a sweet deal worked out with big money people.
