Carlos Hathcock
.450/400 Nitro Ex
Just in case someone on a gun forum needs transportation to the range. I bought this car around 2014 from a decent guy on a local car forum who I ended up getting to know pretty well. He bought cars more often than underwear. At the time I had a 94 300 ZX twin turbo and wanted something I could go out with seating for my wife and son. Since sold the Z (sadly) and really don't drive this car much anymore. Thinking of something Mustangish down the road, but not right now. I'll put it up here before it goes on any other sites.
Below is the basic information:
2003 Mustang GT Deluxe
Light Grey Leather Interior
Stock 4.6 (bottom end) motor - 59,378 miles (had just over 50k when I bought it)
Helion Twin Turbo Kit Currently on 7psi (Tial Wastegates & Springs) Hellion 1999-2004 Ford Mustang GT Twin Turbo System - Hellion Power Systems
I rebuilt the turbo bearings maybe 3 years ago.
ACT Stage 3 Clutch
Tubular K-Member
Moroso Oil Pan
3.73 Rear Gear
Front Coilovers
Rear 90/10 Drag Pack Shocks
2 Step launch control
Line Locks (they work)
SVE S350 Wheels
Nitto 555 Tires (came on the wheels, drove maybe 2 summers, less than 1000 miles)
Cobra Front Brakes
External Oil Pump - turbo (new a couple years ago)
Borla exhaust (SLP LM1 Loudmouth Exhaust that originally came on the car will come with sale)
03/04 Cobra Front Bumper
Roush Rear Spoiler
Cobra R Hood
Tuned by PopsRacing in Rochester - Street Tune. I am guessing around 415whp
Also have a full set (4) of drag radials (and lugs) on wheels (Forgeline or Weld I think) that will go with the sale.
I recently had the front bumper and hood repainted due to some minor imperfections when I bought it. Main drawbacks as follows:
Front rack and pinion has always had a slight leak. Never worth fixing.
Gauge lens has some fogging. Bothersome at best.
This does not have the ride of a 2021 sports car. It has the ride based on it's age and setup.
Has always started, always run, and never stranded me. I have a lift at my home for serious buyers to inspect the underside. To my knowledge, I am the 3rd owner of this car.
I'm starting off at $ 16,750.00 (not interested in trades right now)
