I have shot a .223 Saiga in the past. They are nice guns. Might even like it a little more then my AR .

I have a Saiga .223 and it's one of my favorite guns that I own. The only thing I don't like about it is that the mini14 style stock make the length of pull to extreme to really keep the rifle shouldered supported by your left hand and manipulat the mag change and chargng handle with your right like the "official" east block manuals and people who have used ak that I've talked to say.
