well it looks like SB Tactical is offering their stabilizing brace for both the Mossberg Shockwave and the Remington Tac-14....

well no need to go to Black aces any more...... especially pair this with the even newer new Remington Tac-14DM

Look, we know that the ATF has said it's not, but it is. Everyone knows it is and everyone uses it as one. With what's happening with the bump stock bans, I can't help but see this brace thing going in the same direction eventually.

The purpose of the NFA of 1934 was to prevent nefarious people from being able to conceal short rifles and shotguns. This "not a stock" completely gets around it by the thinnest of excuses. Sooner rather than later, it's going to get squashed. People like Diane Feinstein have already included pistol braces in their proposed laws. It's already in their crosshairs. All of this in my opinion is why having one in NY is asking for trouble until it's been prosecuted and we have case law saying otherwise.

It doesn't matter what they like or want to do to ban them. What matters is that the braces are legal on the federal level right now, and have been for quite a while at this point. There are many companies making them, and if you're someone that doesn't want to spend $200 for a tax stamp and wants basically an SBR or SBS, you have that option. The time spent worrying about what could happen is time that could be spent enjoying one before it could potentially end up banned.

Well again it's not a stock so go ahead and live in fear, you not owning something doesn' affect me in anyway. Sorry that it scares you. And kinda sound like someone who thinks a bump stock makes an ar15 a machine gun
