Or they could just need Some water. Be careful with fertilizing young plants. It doesn’t take too much to over fertilize and burn the roots.Have you fertilized them? Looks like they might need some Nitrogen.

We do have a deer problem, a rabbit problem and a woodchuck problem. In the past I've covered the beds with chicken wire to protect the plants. That looks like a bucolic little spot.
Do you have much in the way of deer? I am still wracking my brain as to enclosure for here. I would almost think some of mine would be inclined to knock that down- or jump right over.
The victory garden is coming together. I added a patriotic bird bath and built some planter benches. I also added an arbor to the entrance and ran the soaker hoses. Today we can finally start putting in the plants. Now that I am retired, I'm rebuilding my victory garden that I had stopped tending many years ago. It's a 32ft x 32ft fenced in area that the previous owner of my house used as a goose pen.

Wiped out my garden with the Kubota I rented. Planting grass and going to containers inside my chain link fence. Only have to worry about the rabbit now LOL.
And created a new hot pepper garden that I hope no one bothers. View attachment 74437

Almost done. We planted some vegetables and some rows of seeds for vegetables that we could not find in any stores as seedlings. We also planted flowers to attract bees. Just a few more plants left to plant and do some repairs to the fencing. My wife couldn't find a patriotic wind chime anywhere so I made one with salvaged parts. A friend in the tree business is coming by to drop a load of wood chips for the walkways in the garden. The victory garden is coming together. I planted my 1 bed yesterday. I really wanted to do another one this year, but I just don't have enough time. So now I have extra plants and a bunch of seed that I wont be using this year.
i had the same.
tilled a line in the pool area in the fence and supplemented with garden soil and planted it all.
still need to get squash plants.

Sometimes when frost damaged, fruit trees will go dormant to survive. My peach tree did that the first year . What kind of cherry tree do you have? My father has a couple of Ox heart cherry trees. He says that they grow the best for most CNY regions.Well I’m coming to the sad realization that my apricot tree will likely die. There’s almost no leaves. That cold snap in May killed all the blooms and most of the leaves. I doubt it will survive.
I’ve also come to the realization that I think my cherry tree blooms too early for my region and the flowers just die or don’t get pollinated during flowering.
Not sure what I will do. I’m sad about it and very aggravated. The trees were researched and were recommended for my area so not happy about that. I bought them from a local well known nursery.
I think if I lived on the lake shore they would be fine but I don’t.
I’m in western ny between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.Sometimes when frost damaged, fruit trees will go dormant to survive. My peach tree did that the first year . My blueberries, blackberries and raspberries are growing gang busters again this year too! I think that quick hot spell did wonders for them.Helpful article on fruit trees. Leads me to believe it’s frost damage this year and last year. I see the little mini cherries forming them they all just turn yellow and drop off. It’s sad to because I get so excited too when I see them all and they start to grow a bit. Then it uh man and I end up with like 10 cherries.
My blueberry looks great as do my raspberries. Oh strawberries are bananas this year too.
If anyone is in the Buffalo area and wants strawberries or some raspberry bushes this fall let me know. I’m happy to share some for free!!
Hopefully you can find a way to deter the crows . A healthy pear tree will produce fruit for 30+ yearsWe have a pear tree that has been on our property since we moved in. We never get any fruit as the squirrels and crows pick it clean before any fruit matures. They never even get to golf ball size before they’re all eaten.
Looking great!!The free wood chips arrived. I put down landscape fabric and then spread the chips over the walkways in my garden.
