1911guy is having trouble posting the raffle ticket, it should be here soon, patience is a virtue. While I'm here, raffle tickets will be $25 apiece, firearms this year will be furnished by RUNNINGS, gift certificates for RUNNINGS, there will be 15 of them, at $400 each, there will also be 15 firearms as prizes, on alternating days. If you are not close to a RUNNINGS store, our club will issue you a check for $ 400, at your request. Seen name & address above to purchase tickets, please include your 'screen name' from this forum, in case your phone number or info is illegible.

That's correct, sir. We've been doing this raffle here on this forum for several years, If you win a gun, you can choose to take the firearm, or the money, - we DO GIVE YOU THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY WE WOULD PAY FOR THE FIREARM. A lot of raffles pay only a token cash prize. Tickets are good for every day in June, multiple prizes possible.

@Gonzobird I've been participating every year Camden R&GC has offered these raffles here on NYGF. They're legit. Don't even ask me how many guns I've won!

Thanks for the support - last year, the raffle didn't materialize AT ALL, -- difficulty with the supply chain & availability. July 2019 our club took a hit from devastating flooding - we're still recovering from that, financially. We've had winners in the past from Alaska, Arizona, the Carolinas, Texas, that I can remember offhand. 1911guy and I chaired the raffle for years, - being 'long of tooth' - we're stepping back a little and letting a couple other people run it. Runnings is doing the guns this year, we've used several small gun stores in the past, we did use Runnings one other year, and they treated us well. They seem to have held their firearm prices pretty stable through this covid & omygod slowdown. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU! MAY ALL YOUR SHOTS BE IN THE X-RING.

Would someone be correct in arriving at the conclusion that only 100 tickets out of 1000 (those numbered above) are available for purchase by NY Gun Forum members?
All 1000 tickets are for sale. First come first serve. Many tickets are given to people who sell them for us and are available if not sold. Too many sellers make it sometimes impossible to actually know what numbers are available at one time.
Since every ticket has the exact same probability of being a winner, it really doesn't matter -- but I realize some folks have favorite numbers and others are fanaticaly superstitious about their numbers.

There ARE 1000 tickets available. They do get spread out widely among our clubs 400 + members. Specific ticket numbers are hard to track down. The 100 tickets I listed are numbers from the first group of tickets I picked up. Sorry, but it is almost impossible to guarantee any specific numbers right now. If you REALLY MUST HAVE specific numbers, I suggest you contact someone at the club, or me, ahead of time to reserve said desired numbers. You can ask for a specific number, at this time there can be no guarantees.

Well , I should have known the answer to my own question, same as last few years with the numbers. Do not know why I even asked except to say that the little gray cells are sharp as marbles nowadays when it comes to some things.
If possible, I'd like you to check to see if you have 231, 696 and 122 available for me please. If so, I will take all three, if less than three avilable I will take what you have of them and another one or two at trandom for a total of three. If those all gone already, I will take three at random.
