DONE .22 LR bolt rifle

Gonna dispatch squirrels around LaGrangeville with a bolt action .22, I take it you'all ain't from around these parts. If you miss or don't land a kill shot, you may not have time with a bolt action to save your own skin. Word is the squirrels in around here migrated from the DEC superfund site at Nuclear lake. One tore up a have a heart trap at my place last week. I won't walk the dog at night anymore with just a handgun.

holly hell is this photo for real?! Lol that’s frickin crazy. But you didn’t see what was in it right? What else lives out here that could get caught in it? Are there minks out here?

That's not a $200 rifle anymore
I bought one last year and love it. Just put a compact Nikon on it but still need to add something for a comb riser to find the scope easier. I found the short barrel is a bit fussy on ammo. Impact in will change a lot with the hyper loads. Right now I'm sighted in for cci red,white,blue hollow points.

well I wanted... to find a old $200 rifle. Couldn’t find one. So this is what my search turned into lol

Crappy?...an old mossberg will probably shoot better than you can hold...just saying....

I mean crappy old gun, in the sense that in my experience they hold little aftermarket cash value... but obviously I don’t think it is crappy and know it shoots good because that’s what I was looking for...

And I agree most guns today outshoot the shooter 90% of the time :thumbsup:

First off, was that nucelar lake named after some story or old test site? I guess I need to research it myself now lol. I was swimming in that the other day! I saw a fatty beaver on the north end.

Yeah it's real and was last week not far from you. The have-a-heart trap was dragged 10 feet and moved a temporary garden fence. I was going to post a picture for forum members thoughts of what ate its way through that steel in short order, left a small fist sized hole, and could still fit in the trap. I've seen lesser cages hold nasty weasels. I figured it had to be a good sized rodent with matching teeth.
