I'd be interested in your analysis of Frank. SCOPE screwed the pooch in Erie County, his group 1791 picked up the ball and pulled the SCOPE refugees together. He seems to do a good job pushing back against Cuomo.

I just assumed if you were running for sheriff, you HAD to have law enforcement experience. Just makes sense to me. Whether he's super pro 2A or not, that disqualifies him from my vote unless he was the only non Democrat running.

Maybe but if he surrounds himself with good law enforcement minds I wouldn’t hesitate to vote for him.

If you want things to be done differently, sometimes you need someone who hasn't always done things the old way....

Kinda like if you want to drain the swamp, you have to stop hiring people with "experience" navigating it, and get people with experience using dynamite instead.

A company manager does not need to know how to manufacture what a company manufactures, he just needs to lead a team that does know how to do said. Leadership is more then knowing how to make something, it is knowing how to inspire people who know how to make something and get the the tools, equipment and supplies they request and thus empowering them... Yes, it helps to know how, but not required as long as he has people under him that knows how. Great leaders rely on & trust their followers to succeed!

exactly what we try to teach our new Navy Chiefs (E7). You can take over many other departments. As long as they aren’t in different ends of the spectrum. Like medical overseeing IT and vice versa and so much more.
and as you get more senior, like a Master Chief , you may be a Boatswains Mate overseeing a hospital.
