Some of my best friends are italics.

Back in the day, I ran a web forum for one of my wife's hobbies. I had no interest in the hobby, so I spent my time with add-ons to torture the users.

One favorite was the Disemvoweler. But my favorite, since we didn't really ban anyone; was a plug-in that rendered every word someone would type as some form of "blah", lol.
