I am quite content to live with these people.I think a lot of the anger in this country is politically pushed. Yeah I'm not pleased Biden is in place, but that doesn't mean I have a deep hatred of my neighbor or can't get along with people.
Let's take a step back and realize we have to live together, and discuss things like adults. That's an attitude that seems lost these days.
We need a little less Facebook, and a little more face to face talks over coffee. It's easy to demonize across a screen.
Trump is the focus He is a symptom. He is not the cause. This has nothing, NOTHING, to do with Trump. Trump has very little to do with the anger and frustration that many in this Once Great Nation are feeling.
Those in the media, they all have the syndrome. TDS. They are too fucking stupid to see that Americans are in fact angry and fed up.
Trump is the focus He is a symptom. He is not the cause.
There has been a situation brewing for a long time, it was just waiting for a focus to nucleate around. It was inevitable it would eventually find one.
Just like George Floyd's death was not the cause of all the riots last summer. The riots were inevitable. If it wasn't George, it would have been the well deserved death of some other POS that triggered it.
I am quite content to live with these people.
But it seems that they are not willing to live with me.
It is their choice, but I will not be going to a camp to soothe their sensibilities.
Easier said than done. There is a very large and growing totalitarian mindset in the mind of liberals and even non political people. I only knew Jim Cramer as a slightly wacky (and frequently wrong) stock picker. Yet he went on a rant that unvaccinated people should be rounded up by the military. Where in the hell did that come from?Look, I agree with you. I want to be left alone too. Anyone who doesn't leave me alone, is not going to find I just roll over and take their bullshit.
That being said, there is a degree of tact in disarming people that the wiser of the two has to exercise in order to break the feedback loop of hatred. We're feeding into this political bullshit too. We're keeping it going. We have to find a way to stop it, all while being physically and mentally capable of fighting back. It's a thin line of nuance between being physically capable, while showing mental restraint and poise.
Our fight isn't with the every day person, it's with the politicians that want to paint hatred with broad strokes. Those are the people we must turn our ire towards, and make sure they never get a shot at power in the future. We have to see these people for the "hate-baiters" they are in reality. We have to turn their game of hated into the very thing that disqualifies them for leadership in the eyes of the public.
If these assholes in the media would actually focus on the real and not the make-believe, things might improve.
Ever wonder if the "media" is being forced to focus on the make-believe at the cost of their livelihood or actual life?
I wouldn't put it past this administration to be holding them hostage in some way, to ensure they parrot out whatever the dictator's want them to say.
Except for the cuomos. they are quite obviously dictatorial shitbags.
Just watched V for Vendetta, again, the other night.
The media in that movie is exactly what we are seeing live, today.
I generally try to take this attitude EXCEPT when dealing with people whos ideology is so adverse to freedom and liberty that it cant be reconciled. IE Marxists, Communists, actual Fascists etc. etc. etc.I think a lot of the anger in this country is politically pushed. Yeah I'm not pleased Biden is in place, but that doesn't mean I have a deep hatred of my neighbor or can't get along with people.

Seems even the Trump supporters are polarized. This is hilarious. That’s 40-41% of the people that voted for Trump. I know plenty that did and none of them would even donate to a 2024 campaign.
The same Trump that did more anti-2A things in 4 years than Obummer did in 8? That guy? LMFAO.
He set a terrible precedent by having the ATF reclassify a piece of plastic as a machine gun. He did other things like signed the fix NICS deal. If you want to make excuses for the guy who promised to relax restrictions then literally did the opposite thats your problem. This is funny. At least too me it is. What he do, get rid of the useless bumpstock. Oh no....

What he did were infringements. Not making any excuses at all. I just see things with eyes wide open.
A certain kind of stock is not guaranteed under the 2A, so, I do not care. You can care all you want. I do not.
To compare the couple of things did and saying he was worse than Obummer is just ignorance to what was restricted under his administration.
I will not plug this threads conversation with the long list of Obummer failings, I could, but I will not.
What he did were infringements.
And he certainly has plenty of other faults to complain about.
But, it's unreasonable to compare him to "perfect" when the alternative is a senile kleptocrat.
Trump wasn't running against Reagan (who passed far worse 2A infringements) where such comparisons could make a difference.
Imagine an election between Winston Churchill and Mao Zedong and people saying "I'm not voting for Churchill, he drinks too much".
They are arms (even if they are ridiculous ones).I do not see them as infringements. Others may, I do not.
They are arms (even if they are ridiculous ones).
Just like outlawing pastafarianism would be a violation of religious liberty.
Pastafarianism, also known as the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, is legally recognized as a religionThey are arms (even if they are ridiculous ones).

Many are willing, they just don't want to be firstIfwe havethere are 30 million ready, WHAT THE FUCK AREWETHEY WAITING FOR?
If there were even just 1 million truly ready, things would have started happening by now.
There are definitely some people ready, but just a few ofusthem, alone, will not effect much change.
Can't make it about Trump - it needs to be about Liberty.
The government has no business deciding what religions are and are not legitimate.Pastafarianism, also known as the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, is legally recognized as a religion
