Not sure about those bergers they are pretty temperamental (jump sensitive).
Other than curiosity it is a pretty useless feat.
However the 308w with the modern powders and 160-180gr cnc bullets shoots as far and as flat as the most popular 6.5 mm and still has a lot more momentum to take care of business at a realistic 1500 to 1600 yards before it goes transonic. That is pretty good vs the 1-1.1k yards of previous generation 308 bullets and powders.
The 308w makes a lot of sense in the new monolithic bullet world.
