He says, "I don't have a CC pistol, also do not have a full CC permit ( Sportsman restriction on it )."Did I mis-read post # 12?

10-15 feet?? Sounds like you need much more practice behind that revolver. Try 38 +p+CC 9MM pistol all day long. First, you said you need a CC daily carry. The .357 revolver I have: Bad - is highly inaccurate after 10-15 feet, only holds 5 rounds. Good - fits in a front pocket and is light.
Another CCP advantage is more rounds available, and can be reloaded quickly.
I rarely carry the revolver due to its shortcomings... sits in the safe a lot!
That means if the burgeler is armed you have to try and shoot the gun from his hand first.what is a Sportsman restriction?

Oh, well belly guns weren’t meant to be accurate beyond that distance.2" Bbl. is luck beyond that distance...
The trigger on that is no big deal. It’s nothing more that a removable trigger shoe that somebody put on there. It’s only held on by set screws. Did I read that correctly? The S/N on the Cylinder matched the S/N on the frame? The S series S/N’s are collectable firearms.I went today to inspect that revolver.
1-As I was warned, she is BIG. Much more so than a Rossi 357 they had on display.
2-Not all original. Had coating on cylinder and hammer. SN of cyl matches. Pachmyre grips.
3- It had minimal cylinder play in full lock, Overall good shape for a 55yr old piece. Some bluing worn at muzzle.
I will hold off for now. Were it all blued, I'd have pro ably bought it.

Why was my quote from another thread out here? @NYGunsThe trigger on a hat is no big deal. It nothing more that a removable trigger shoe that somebody put on there. It’s only held on by set screws. ...Until you paint /ceracoat them. D'oh!The S series S/N’s are collectable firearms.
Yeah, a bubba job for sure. I can’t tell for certain from just the one pic but it also looks as though they did their own version of a chamfered cylinder. If so that’s a damn shame. Ceracoating the cylinder was bad enough....Until you paint /ceracoat them. D'oh!
There are better examples to be had for that price.
Go with a shield or pps you can probably find either in that price range.
