I'm looking for some sources for shooting or gun stuff to 3D print.

I've been looking on thingiverse, but seems like they don't have anything shooting related.

Note that I would *never* print any of this stuff.
But if I did, I'd notice if there is, or is not a notch for a forward assist to go, if you have an upper that has one.
And if your upper does have one, you'll not be able to pivot the upper on the front pin, unless you carve out that notch to allow the assist-knob to clear.

And CERTAINLY, do not look at this modular lower and start giggling your ass off.

That modular Firebolt that I linked helps with that, since it's just that one piece to print. It basically becomes a maintenance item.

Other option is to look at using a different material - if your hotend can do 260, some type of PA6 (nylon) will open up a whole new world. BUT, you need to manage the moisture with a dehydrator or such.

You'll want a hardened tip for this, but,

oh for sure. with 100% infill and many outer walls, PLA+ wasnt going to hold up with the buffer tower. Now nylon, or PETG might hold up much better, but like i said, idk if i want to go into that territory with 3d printed lowers, so I just didnt pursue it further
