The home of governor lefty Anne Richards and RINO Bush 43 may have already faded from pink to purple. Texas as a State has not been RED in decades because of the likes of large liberal cities like Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Mesquite, Laredo, El Paso, and Texarkana. Likewise their largest counties such as Harris, Dallas, Bexar, Travis, El Paso, Hidalgo and Fort Bend are progressive loonie leftest santuaries. The largest of these cities are to the left of NYC by most any measure. Most polls, surveys and studies rank Austin as more liberal and progressive than San Francisco. The 2018 Senate race may be a real dog fight (I really hate the Bloomberg / Moms Demand / Parkland Students / Gabby Gifford endorsed, gun grabbing, open border, criminal - "Beto the maggot" - opposing Cruz.)

There are few Conservative cities in Texas. Arlington, Midland, Amarillo, and Lubbock may be all they have.
